The Treofan Group, one of the world’s leading producers of high performance polypropylene film, announces the reorganization of its Cast Business Unit. The effort aims at improving both product quality and competitiveness by consolidating its production into its Lamezia Terme (Southern Italy) site from its second site in San Gimignano (Tuscany), which will be closed. With a total of almost 40 employees, San Gimignano is the smallest production site of the Treofan Group.

The Treofan Group develops, manufactures and markets high-performance OPP (oriented polypropylene), CPP (cast polypropylene) and BOPLA (biaxally oriented polylacticacid) films for a wide variety of applications. Its products are marketed worldwide under the brand names Trespaphan, Biophan, Shorko and Moplefan.
