![]() As it is reported by Mr. Nikolay Shchurikov, the Chairman of the PJSC "The Odessa port plant" (the city of Yuzhny, Odessa oblast), the company started production at the plant after almost three months shutdown. According to him, it is planned to put into operation one unit for production of ammonia and two units for production of urea. He specified that in December 2017 the "Ukrainian Energy Company" won the tender for the use of the capacities of PJSC "Odessa port plant" for processing gas into mineral fertilizers based on customer-furnished raw materials and fulfilled its obligations for supply of gas for the start-up of the plant, and also made an advance payment for operation of the processing plant. The main obligations of LLC "Ukrainian Energy Company" include one-time provision of up to 3 mln cubic meters of gas for production start-up and every month - up to 60 mln cubic meters of gas as customer-furnished raw materials. Earlier it was reported that on October 26, 2017 PJSC "Odessa port plant" has resumed operation, but since November 1, 2017, the works were stopped due to failure of one of the units. PJSC "Odessa port plant" is specialized in production of ammonia and urea, transshipment of chemical products coming from the CIS countries for export. At the end of 2016, PJSC "Odessa port plant" the loss of almost 3 billion UAH was reported, while in 2015 the company received the net profit in the amount of 218.5 mln UAH.
