31.08.2005	Dow Chemical Company increases a price for vinyl acetate monomer

The Dow Chemical Company has announced a price increase for vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) in all regions of the world, effective September 15, 2005.

Dow will increase selling prices in Latin America by US$100 per metric ton; in Asia Pacific by US$100 per metric ton; in Europe by 80 Euros per metric ton; in the Middle East/Africa by US$100 per metric ton and in the United States and Canada by $0.045 per pound, or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms.
