Ukrtatnafta JSC plans to expand high-octane gasolines production

Ukrtatnafta JSC continues increasing high-duty fuel manufacturing within the framework of its technological strategy. During I and II quarters the share of the product in gasolines has almost tripled, making up 60%. The company improves the quality of production as well.

The substitution of the current catalyst and repair works at a catalytic reforming unit optimized the production process. New UOP R-86 catalyst enabled the company to achieve octane enhancement without adding a special agent, thus, fuels became more
environmentally-sound. Moreover, technical properties of A-92 and A-95 gasolines were improved significantly.

Ukrtatnafta's development project includes the substitution of the present catalyst for R-86 at the second and third reforming units.
