August 2006 Tax Payment of Severodonetsk Azot Association made USD1.6m

In August 2006 Severodonetsk Azot Association  JSC (Ukraine) paid USD1.6m taxes, including USD484,000 to the local  and USD987,000  to the national budget, said the companey lately.

Cash assets transfered to the Pension Fund and the Social Insurance Fund constituted USD1.1m and USD113,000 respectively.

Severodonetsk Azot Association JSC is the largest chemical enterprise in Ukraine. It produces ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers,  alcohol and acids,  polymer applications and plastic films. More than 70% of its output is exported to CIS and other countries.
