Avdeevsky coking plant shows 14.3% production increase

In July, 2006 Avdeevsky coking plant (Donetsk region, Ukraine) enhanced its production output by USD5.9m  (14.3%) to make USD47.5m compared to June,.

In June Avdeevsky coking plant cut back its production output  by USD2.8m (6.3%) to amount USD41.6m compared to May. Net income of 2005 totalled USD78.5m, while the net profit of the same period made USD1.2bn with a USD346.9m fall (22.4%)   as compared with 2004.

 In 2005 bulk coke production decreased by 23.1% to 3,624,000 tonnes and metallurgical coke production dropped by 23.2% to 3,080,000 tonnes compared to 2004 figures.
 
Avdeevsky coking plant JSC is a largest European coke producer providing one forth of all
 coke at the  Ukrainian market. The plant has nine coke-oven batteries and a concentrating mill of its own. According to 2004 data, 59.1% of Avdeevsky JSC shares is held by System Capital Management CJSC and 25%  by "Investitsii i Razvitiye" JSC (Investment and
Development), Donetsk.
