TechnoCompound, an independently operating full subsidiary of Polymer-Chemie and located in the same town of Bad Sobernheim, has announced today the addition of a new TechnoDur range of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) compounds. It operates separately from the Polymer-TEC subsidiary set up earlier by Polymer-Chemie as a compounder and inline processor of long glass fibre thermoplastics parts using LFT-D equipment from Dieffenbacher. The company has a 60-strong workforce and has a production capacity of over 30,000tpa.
