The company has settled 1,000 tpa manufacturing of bulk polyamide-6 (caprolon B) together with other polymers production at the site of Anion JSC in the middle of July 2006. Kation will produce a wide range of molded polyamide-6: sheets, plates, rods and cylinders. The company is also planning to make profiles from other engineering and technical plastics applying extrusion technique. Targeted at Nylacast technology, Kation has installed semi-automated equipment systems for the new polyamide-6 operations. Anion specialises in rotationally molded production. Nylacast is a developer of polymer technologies. Kation manufactures a wide range of extruded and molded materials from such plastics as polyamide, polyacetal, HDPE and PP that meet DIN/ASTM/ISO standards.
