Sibur Khimprom JSC announces financial results for I and II quarters

The production output of Sibur Khimprom  for the first half  2006 was as follows:

171,728 tonnes of liquefied gases;
25,735 tonnes of propylene processed from pyrolysed raw materials;
12,012 tonnes of propylene;
16,607 tonnes of ethylene;
14,310 tonnes of methyl tertiary butyl ether;
59,312 tonnes of ethylbenzene;
36,568 tonnes of styrene;
33,696 tonnes of butyl and isobutyl alcohols;
26,766 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol

Propylene production has increased by 14% (4,745 tonnes) in comparison with the same period in 2005,including a 71% rise in propylene output (5,002 tonnes), a 28%
increase (7,977 tonnes) in styrene output. The production growth has been achieved
due to the successful  reconstruction of  styrene units.

Butyl alcohols and 2- ethylhexanol manufacturing has grown by 2%, or 1,051 tonnes, in comparison with the same period in 2005. In 2006 Sibur Khimprom tends to gradually cut its cost expences.
