Russian Coatings Corp.: the first half-year results

The general production output of all Russian Coatings units totalled 18,536 tonnes for the first half-year in 2006, reported the company lately.

Russian Coatings Corp. has fairly raised its output exceeding the planned results by 304 tonnes, meanwhile, it realised 23,845 tonnes of products for RUB1,6bn. So, its powder coatings plant expanded turnover by 3 times compared to the same period in 2005, the turnover of water-based dispertions unit increased by 4 times, the decorative paints sales amounted 10,791 tonnes.

One of the leading business trends is production of  automotive OEM coatings "Vika", their sales totalled  3,322 tonnes, which is 14% more than for the same period in 2005. The most significant output increase was reported on acrylic enamels "Vika" (13%) and automotive varnishes (51%).
