Fosforite IG turnout in the first half-year of 2006 stays at the previous level

Fosforite Industrial Group, a subdivision of Eurochem chemical company,  manufactured 380.9 tonnes of basic products in  the first half-year of 2006, has recently said the press service of the company. So, within the mentioned period, the company produced 277,700 tonnes of mineral fertilizers, 103,200 tonnes of feed phosphates. The turnover keeps to the  level of the same  period in 2005.

The manufactured   fertilizers include  216,500 tonnes of ammophos, 5,700 tonnes of superphosphates, 55,400 tonnes of sulfoammophos. Compared with the same period of 2005, ammophos production in the first half-year of 2006 totalled 175%, superphosphates-117,5%,  sulfoammophos- 42,2%. Supplementary feeds production ( defluorinated phosphate) has grown by 6,700 tonnes (6,9%) compared to the same period last year.
The reconstruction of sulphuric acid unit allowed to keep to the planned rates. The first half-year of 2006 resulted in 352,800 tonnes of  sulphuric acid which is 2,700 tonnes more than planned. After closing its out-of-date worn out sulphuric acid unit, the company saw a 11.7% decrease in turnout leading to the 2005 figures.

The general repairs and transition to the new method of phosphate charging into the extractor enabled the company to increase manufacturing of  extracted phosphoric acid by 13% up to 146,800 tonnes.
