27.07.2006	Amtel-Vredestein acquires Moscow tire plant

Amtel-Vredestein Group is acquiring the Moscow Tire Plant, including a recent upgrade of
production capacity and equipment at the Moscow Tire Plant-M, Alexei Gurin, general director of Amtel-Vredestein, said yesterday at a press conference.

According to the terms of the transaction, the group is acquiring Moscow Tire Plant-M along with service sites and all of its tire- producing equipment, and it will also manage the Moscow Tire Plant until December 2007. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
