Volzhsky Orgsynthese (Russia) to set up methanol storage tanks

Volzhsky Orgsynthese, JSC  recognized a necessity for storage of  larger methanol amounts as a result of a steady  increase in its  monomethylaniline and  methionine turnout, said a source in the company.

Thus, the company decided to set up a number of methanol storage tanks at the end of 2005 and  included    the installation  project in its investment program of 2006. Preliminary works aimed at mounting  of two new storage tanks, 300 cubic meters  each, are in the full swing  in  workshop 24. As soon as the metal tanks are delivered to the facility, a contracting agency will set them up within one month. The company's  methanol supplies will be increased  by 150%.

Volzhsky Orgsynthese JSC , based in Volzhsky city, Russia, is a chemical partnership manufacturing a wide range of chemicals from methionine feed grade, N-methylaniline - additive to raise gasolines octane number to rubber accelerators and carbon bisulphide.
