The Mosaic Company has been recognized in the Corporate Responsibility Magazine 11th annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens List, known as the world's top corporate responsibility ranking based on publicly available information.
Mosaic received its 45th global ranking due in part to its conservation and environmental stewardship as well as its financial and governance transparency. Mosaic's accomplishments include: recycling 95 percent of all water used in its Phosphates business, generating nearly 100 percent of its Brazilian power from hydroelectric sources and operating with exceptional transparency in financial reporting and governance.
Mosaic's listing is based on more than 360 data points in seven categories, including: environment, climate change, human rights, philanthropy, employee relations, financial performance and governance. The 100 Best Corporate Citizens List's open and transparent methodology is governed by a Methodology Committee of the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association (CROA).
