This article is based on the papers of III International Conference "PVC and processing", conducted by Alliance-Analytics CJSC in Moscow. Participants of the conference discussed the key issues of development of Russian PVC market in the current economic situation: sanctions, weakening of the Russian currency, the fall in oil prices, increasing import substitution.

The article published in the present issue includes summary of all the 12 reports presented at the conference, contains 17 figures and 13 tables. It highlights all aspects of the production and market of PVC and products made of this polymer in Russia, presents the author's vision of its problems and prospects, including price, technology, foreign trade ones.
