Can We Live Without Chemistry?

One of the popular questions in the former Soviet Union was as follows: “so, is there life on Mars?“ Paraphrasing it, we may metaphorically notice that the entire exhibition Khimia-2011 was an answer to the question: “can we live without chemistry?“

On 24-27 October, 2011 the XVI International Exhibition of the Chemical Industry and Science Khimia-2011, devoted to the chemical industry and science, took place at the central exhibition complex Expocentre in Moscow. The number of the Russian exhibitors reached 330, and the rest 193 were companies from a total of 31 countries. This is the largest forum of its kind in the former Soviet Union. For detailed information about the exhibition and its participants, please read the article in the latest issue of our magazine.
